About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced VP of Marketing to help expand our successful B2B entertainment marketing brand into the B2C space, and run point on exciting consumer promotions. The VP of Marketing will have a chance to make an immediate impact and oversee very visible national promotions. He/she will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for the following:

• The concept and development of an overall fan-facing communication strategy, including web, social, app, print, retail, and in-person communication
• Conceptualizing and rebranding current website to a consumer-facing experience
• Creating and executing fully-integrated marketing plans for all major ZinePak releases (plans will include in-store, online, social, and traditional advertising elements)
• Creating and overseeing all social and online strategy for ZinePak
• Implementing consumer-driven activations on ZinePak’s fan app, ZinePak All Access
• Meeting ambitious goals to increase consumer awareness and brand recognition

• Candidate must have at least six (6) years of marketing experience, with at least three (3) years in a leadership capacity
• Candidate must have at least three (3) years experience in managing and executing retail/shopper marketing and/or digital, social or mobile marketing campaigns
• Candidate must have impressive knowledge of social networking sites and be well versed in developing fan-facing marketing campaigns
• Candidate must have experience launching/overseeing campaigns for a brand
• Candidate must have excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Candidate must be able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously and on very tight timelines with minimal supervision
• Executing a rebranding or pivoting consumer base is a plus
• Basic HTML knowledge or experience in managing website/app a plus

About the Perfect Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes marketing. The perfect candidate is obsessed with marketing sticker language and promotional landing pages, is on the cutting edge of mobile/digital marketing integration, and geeks out for in-store and shopper campaigns. He/she is also a general pop-culture junkie who enjoys music, movies, and sports. If you’re the type of person who reads marketing trade publications for fun and shares ad agency sizzle reels with your friends, you might just be our guy/gal! Those uncomfortable with change and quickly-shifting priorities need not apply. Many of our campaigns will have “startup size” budgets, so creativity is a must. We pride ourselves on getting more done with less.

A Note on Teamwork:
Although this is a VP position, ZinePak is a startup. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with high-level strategy, but also isn’t afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and help with whatever task is at hand. There will be the opportunity to build and supervise a team in time, but for now we’re looking for a one person show who will get support from a shared coordinator.
