Specific qualifications
•First-level university degree. A degree or certificate in web design, web editing, or other relevant field would be an asset;
•Previous professional experience, preferably in the field of website and/or publications editing or online learning;
•Proven editing skills and familiarity with all major computer applications;
•Advanced literacy in digital technology and knowledge of social media software;
•Experience in the area of the production of basic audio-visual materials is desirable;
•Experience in a university or international organization is desirable.

General qualifications
•Ability to identify and propose solutions;
•Excellent knowledge of English and the ability to draft and summarize texts exemplifying a native or near native-level;
•Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing;
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people of different national and cultural backgrounds;
•Gender awareness and sensitivity, and an ability to integrate a gender perspective into tasks and activities;
•Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Position Description

The Web Editor will help shape this major new academic institution, which strives to foster academic excellence, educate political and social entrepreneurs, and improve policymaking that addresses the critical challenges of our time. The Web Editor will help promote the work of SPP and its affiliated centers, by increasing public relations and awareness, inter alia through its website. The Wed Editor will work with the Dean’s Office and report to the SPP’s Dean.
