We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Capital Markets Group in New York City.
Position Overview:
The Graphic Designer will design and develop materials to support business development, marketing initiatives and campaigns, and high-end property marketing initiatives. Emphasis will be on designing customized proposal covers and page layouts/themes, newsletters, executive summaries and property marketing materials for multi-million dollar properties. Examples of such materials include offering memorandums, brochures, flash email and mini micro-website campaigns. The individual in this position will work closely with the Marketing Associates to support the Capital Markets business. He/she must understand the strategy, audience and objectives behind complex design projects, provide appropriate solutions with minimal art direction and work with a variety of team contributors including writers and various levels of management.
•Designs customized deliverables per team and client’s needs, including new graphical elements that visually capture a given message.
•Build vector maps, charts, graphs and other information graphics utilizing Adobe Illustrator or appropriate medium and enhance images or photographs using Adobe Photoshop.
•Works with Microsoft Word, designing existing and new documents for consistency using embedded styles or making custom styles; customizing headers and footers; working with tables; importing/inserting tables, pictures and graphics from various programs.
•Designs and project manages a large variety of property marketing activities, including branding, ads, brochure development, flyers/e-flyers, direct mail campaigns, invitations, announcements, marketing center items (boards, promotional items, signage, etc.) and special projects.
•Assists with all digital marketing efforts, including designing dynamic emails and creating websites.
•Assists in the creation and subsequent maintenance of graphics and photography library.
•Designs, implements and tracks marketing plans and budgets, including timelines, objectives, marketing elements, costs, resources, media buys, etc.
•Provides exceptional client service, taking on full ownership of assigned projects.
•Interacts with department management and senior leadership across the country.
•Upholds and strives to innovate within brand standard guidelines.
•Oversees production of proposals and presentations to ensure deadlines are met, recommending solutions to foreseeable problems.

•Bachelor's degree in Art or Design/Visual Communications
•Minimum 2-4 years of professional experience in print and digital design/graphic arts
•Experience in Commercial Real Estate a plus
•Proven leadership in design and project management, along with demonstrated working knowledge of the business.
•Candidates must be proficient in both print and digital graphic design
•Strong creative vision and visual arts skills with an established portfolio of business to business print and digital marketing collateral
•Proficiency with PC design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash) and Microsoft Office product knowledge – PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel is required
•Ability to work independently and under deadline pressure on several projects simultaneously
•Ability to study industry trends in visual communications and develop creative, innovative ideas to meet Jones Lang LaSalle’s aggressive new business and deal completion goals
•Team-oriented attitude and ability to contribute to design- and functionality-related marketing decisions
•Ability to review, edit, write and format flawless marketing materials
•Flexibility to work last minute overtime as needed
