ABRAMS seeks a detail oriented individual to be responsible for the sale of all Abrams books and calendars to Barnes & Noble under all imprints. Responsibilities include preparing for sales calls by gathering material and fact sheets, creating presentations and spreadsheets, researching titles and comparative sales; presenting new and appropriate backlist titles to buyers utilizing B&N bookscan data and model title reviews; preparing semi-annual market share and forecasting analysis; managing all aspects of co-op promotions; negotiating fees, managing co-op pool and analyzing effectiveness of co-op expenditures; building and maintaining customer relationships; managing the Wimpy Kid brand and helping create innovative merchandising plans; processing orders and managing inventory as requested; attending launch and sales meetings and participating in weekly staff and marketing meetings. Some travel required.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree; minimum 3-4 years of sales publishing experience. Computer literate. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Strong English language skills - both oral and written - and strong follow-up and follow through skills. Individual should have comfort, ease and ability in presenting sales information in person or on the phone
