•Act as point of contact for several clients, managing day-to-day correspondence and formulating a status report at the end of every week
•Secure strategic press coverage in top national, regional and online media outlets
•Draft and service pitch letters, press releases, and media alerts
•Maintain strong relationships with key food and beverage editors, relevant bloggers, restaurant reviewers, and key features editors
•Create targeted, strategic public relations and marketing campaigns that maximize brand visibility
•Coordinate and manage a wide range of events from grand openings to weekly happy hours
•Provide support on all client initiatives and continue development of new ideas for client growth

•Minimum 2-4 years experience
•Superior knowledge of food/beverage media practices, as well as an excellent track record in garnering top tier coverage in print, broadcast TV, and online mediums
•Experience in event planning
•Must be proficient in Powerpoint, Photoshop, Excel, Word, and excellent understanding of social media outlets (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.)
•Candidate is responsible for creation, maintenance and timely distribution of editorial reports and press clippings
•Must exhibit strong writing, communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas to clients, agency principals, and colleagues
•Must have ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline oriented, high-energy environment
•Team player and able to think “outside of the box”
•Ability to multitask and maintain quality work under pressure
•Experience in supervising/managing junior staff is required
