The Channel Sales Account Manager will help support and grow our dynamic network of global resellers. The ideal candidate must be comfortable dealing with US & foreign-based partners, be organized and have great attention to detail. As Channel Sales Account Manager, you will:
Provide day-to-day support of our existing resellers via email, phone and occasionally at local tradeshows
Learn everything there is to know about selling and marketing MakerBot 3D printers, scanners and filament, in order to teach our resellers what you know
Manage major accounts and partner relationships
Identify growth and expansion opportunities within existing and new relationships
Recruit new sales leads via cold calls, emails, trade shows, and other events
Maintain knowledge of competitive systems, pricing and practices
Process orders accurately, quickly, and meticulously
Develop marketing initiatives to support the growth of the accounts under management
Communicate regularly with all resellers, helping with their local marketing and sales tactics to continue building the MakerBot brand globally
Hold clients accountable for their monthly and quarterly sales goals
Ensure that assigned accounts are properly managed by administering order information, overseeing logistics and providing amazing support
To be considered for the Channel Sales Account Manager position you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum 7+ years of experience in sales, client support, marketing or partner development
Strong organizational, planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines
Strong ability to manage relationships and be happy in a performance driven position
Be comfortable with cold calling to identify new resellers
Ability to initiate and maintain new business relationships
Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, SalesForce and CRM program proficiency
Strong communication and writing skills
Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This employer will not sponsor applications for work/student Visas.
