The Marketing Analyst will interpret data and make recommendations for GSUSA to better understand the member experience and create more effective marketing campaigns. The analyst will extract and analyze data, interpret the results and create comprehensive reports. The analyst will also reveal the underlying story and provide insights to make more informed marketing decisions to drive new member acquisition and revenue growth. Upon completion of analysis, the analyst will present recommendations to clients, cross-functional team members, and/or management.

The Marketing Analyst will be required to stay abreast of industry trends and consumer insights, particularly in the fields communications/branding. Use statistical tools to analyze members, campaigns, and other marketing data and develop key marketing insights in order to optimize marketing spend, improve campaigns, develop member/ prospect segmentation, and improve marketing efficiency. She/he will perform in-depth analysis and insight into key metrics, provide recommendations for improving member experience. She/he will development, implementation and management of performance tracking and analysis tools that support overall effectiveness of our business.

She/he will monitor and analyze effectiveness of new features, website changes, marketing campaigns and outbound programs. Meet with marketing and operations management to understand goals and data sources and help establish benchmarks and metrics, ability to forecast and make projections is also key. The Marketing Analyst will develop compelling supporting materials for executive-level marketing presentations, mining data from multiple sources and evaluate the productivity and profitability of Omni-channel marketing campaigns, produce ROI reports, and identify opportunities for improvement.

•3-5+ years of experience in marketing analytics; digital marketing agency experience preferred
•BS in Statistics, Statistical Analysis, or Business Administration or Digital Marketing highly desirable
•Knowledge about direct marketing, database marketing, web analytics, and multi-channel marketing
•Expertise in Google Analytics and Excel; knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Data Mining, Predictive modeling with Microsoft Analysis Services, and/or knowledge of SPSS Statistics preferred
•Analytical expertise - excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
•Comfortable with "hands on" involvement with data retrieval, manipulation, analysis and insight generation
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills - communicates clearly and credibly to colleagues and to senior management
•Understanding of SEO and optimizing websites for Search
