Wilen New York is a client-driven marketing agency looking for an energetic and experienced Associate Account Director who will lead the strategic development and execution of direct response marketing tactics.

The Associate Account Director (AAD) is a hands-on, executional leader that has the overall responsibility for the management of the account as well as its overall retention and growth. The AAD is the principal contact between the agency and client and works across multiple lines of business, across multiple accounts. The AAD is also involved in developing and driving the strategic direction and executing solutions that meet the client’s expectations and business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to):
•Overall account retention, profitability, and growth.
•Acting as a liaison between the agency and client to establish/strengthen relationships, and identify new opportunities.
•Developing and implementing strategy for client campaigns to grow their business and gain market share.
•Ensuring the delivery of quality, cost-effective solutions.
•Overseeing, developing and presenting integrated proposals, creative briefs, estimates, and creative materials to client.
•Leading both client and internal meetings to set initiatives, review projects, and ensure strategic outlines are being met.
•Driving internal team in the development and execution of stated marketing initiatives.
•Providing guidance and instruction to Account team to continually promote their growth and knowledge of the business.
•Setting onsite visits with major clients at least once every six weeks.
•Providing periodic updates of Accounts to the Executive team.
•Managerial leadership of your team (reviews, interviews, etc.)

•7+ years Agency experience
•Ability to develop and grow client relationships at the VP level and above
•Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
•Ability to manage multiple clients, multiple teams, and concurrent projects.
•Strong interpersonal skills, with a can-do attitude.
•20% Travel required
