JWT Atlanta is seeking an Account Director to lead the direction, activity and advertising support for Brand Activation programs on_ the USMC account, directly supporting Marin Corps Recruiting Command (MCRC)._ The Account Director will lead the agency team that supports Marine Recruiters and Officer Selection Officers most directly, managing a team of three supervisors and seven account executives, including those in our field locations throughout the United States.
*___ Primary responsibility, with the support and partnership of the Group Account Director, Account Planning and Creative Leadership, to establish the annual strategic direction for the Marine Corps account and ensure that projects, programs and integrated programs stay on strategy, on budget and deliver on time.__

*___ Oversee JWT Atlanta creative, research and strategy initiatives aimed at supporting national partnerships, regional/district-level events, and the development of traditional and digital recruiter support tools; keep the Marine Corps clients abreast on status and priority of projects and programs monthly.
*___ Work with the Finance Supervisor to manage the approved budget.
*___ Integrate and support partner agencies to ensure program success.
*___ Work with the Marine Corps Recruiting Command's Deputy for Advertising to stay abreast of mission initiatives at the National, Region and District levels, to include semi-annual District Client advertising conference attendance, District trips as needed, and annual planning conferences.__ ___
*___ With the assistance of Group Account Director and fellow Account Directors for Brand Messaging and Brand Relationship, manage the relationship with all partner agencies, including, MindShare, UniWorld, H&K, etc.
*___ Establish a positive partnership with the clients, acting as a day to day contact for the Deputy for Advertising; Other primary client relationships include supporting the Group Account Director with the Assistant Chief of Staff-Advertising, Chief of Staff-MCRC, Commanding General-MCRC, and Regional Marketing Specialists, District Commanding Officers, and Region Assistant Chiefs of Staff.
Plan, coordinate and produce professional written and oral presentations for clients, to include research-driven POVs, white papers, conference reports, and strategic/tactical client briefs.
*___ Works in close concert with all parts of the JWT account and creative team as well as all partners to ensure a 360 degree view is taken and brought to bear for the Marine Corps.
*___ Supports expansion business opportunities, pro-bono work and new business team with strategic oversight and managerial responsibilities.
Knowledge, Talent & Skills:
*___ BA/BS from an accredited school or university; MBA helpful.
*___ 8+ years of experience with an advertising agency or marketing department showing progression up the ladder.
*___ Demonstrated excellence in managing and leading; able to discern talent, coach staff and motivate others.
*___ Skilled presenter, proven leader and ability to match issues and work to the appropriate teams and staff people.
*___ Ability to define problems, collect data, problem solve, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
