Salary Description:

The Account Manager sells advertising space in Parents, FamilyFun, American Baby, and their ancillary products within an assigned territory. This position interacts extensively with agency and client personnel. In addition, the Account Manager maintains or improves share-of-market for The Parents Network titles and maximizes profitability.

Essential Job Functions

Maintains high call volume, expands level of client contact, travels consistently within designated territory.
Exceeds sales quota.
Increases market share among existing accounts and prospects outside the category for new account growth.
Sells The Parents Network as a brand. Leverages necessary touch points to create meaningful multi-platform programs for clients.
Collaborates with The Parents Network management and sales team to develop successful sales strategies

Minimum Qualifications:
All must be met to be considered.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.

Three to five years sales experience preferably in magazines, newspapers or other print medium.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to identify and resolve sales-related issues and challenges.
Proficiency with Act, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of magazine and digital and how it fits in market place.
