Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.

Eight to ten years of experience in television broadcasting sales including at least two years of successful experience in a National Sales Manager role for a local television station.
Previous experience working for a broadcasting television advertising rep firm helpful, but not required.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with individuals in varying levels and interpersonal styles.
Excellent negotiation skills with strong understanding of sales techniques and fundamentals.
Strong level of customer focus and a proven willingness to meet internal and external customer expectations.
Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond to customer requests in a timely and effectively manner.
High attention to detail.
Creative problem solving and the ability to find solutions quickly.
Results oriented with past experience meeting deliverables.
Able to function independently or in a team environment.
Must be self-motivated and manage time effectively.
Flexible and adaptable to meet changing priorities.
Innovative and forward-thinking.
