Mobile Product Manager, Reuters Digital (contract)

This is a unique opportunity to join a consumer media and technology group with one of the world’s leading content producers and brands. You will oversee the delivery of the award winning Reuters App product line (currently available for iOS, Android and Windows Mobile) as it expands into new geographies. You will collaborate with engineering, testing and design and will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality, multi-media applications across devices.


- Manage the entire product life cycle from planning to execution for Reuters Apps (phones/tablets)
- Identify, gather and prioritize product requirements and opportunities based on business metrics
- Produce and confidently articulate product roadmaps and timelines (sprints/release cycles)
- Ensure product delivery is on time and within budget
- Closely collaborate with Development, QA and Design to guarantee a smooth implementation
- Build high quality apps with great user experiences measured by increased user engagement
- Analyze usage statistics and user feedback for continued product iteration
- Conduct competitive and market research to understand the current landscape, trends and emerging opportunities, and recommend improvements (digital media and mobile spaces)
- Maintain relationships and communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout all levels of the company


- Minimum 2 years of product management experience of large-scale consumer-facing products
- Experience with iOS, Android and/or Windows Mobile platforms
- Understanding of Agile development practices (e.g Scrum and/or Kanban) and the full product life cycle
- A user-focused, metrics-informed approach to product development
- Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously
- Detailed Oriented
- Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with remote teams
- Passion for delivering great mobile experiences that users love

Highly Desired:

- Experience with cross-platform services delivered across both web and mobile
- Understanding of ad-operations and the digital media landscape
- Experience in interpreting analytics/usage stats
