CQ Roll Call is seeking a National Sales Director responsible for meeting advertising goals, maintaining and growing existing accounts and actively prospecting for and developing new business for all CQ Roll Call print, online, event and web based sponsorships. This person is responsible for developing proposals and media recommendations for clients and ad agencies, particularly large New York agencies. Along with submitting regular and accurate forecasts, this person is required to consistently meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. The Northeast sales territory demands 25% travel (New York, Boston & Philadelphia) and also includes a number of large advocacy accounts in Washington DC.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years advertising or media sales experience with a strong background in digital and new media; excellent oral presentation and written communication skills; prior success in sales or account management; and, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
