The Knot (www.theknot.com), one of our XO Group Inc. brands, seeks a Community Coordinator to manage our website’s active online community. The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized, detail-obsessed self-starter with a passion for social media. The ability to juggle multiple projects and stay calm and collected under pressure must be part of your DNA. You thrive on being part of a collaborative team and will never say the words “It’s not my job”!

Responsibilities Include:

- 2+ years of experience working with online audiences acting as not only a moderator, but a customer service liaison with proven timely problem-solving success

- Maintain message boards as well as sponsored live chats

- Recognize and recruit community users to act as moderators from within the community

- Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize your work in a fast-paced environment, either independently or as part of a team

- Increase the quantity of posts and quality of content while engaging with members daily

- Act as a liaison between community members and community technology team on an ongoing basis for site improvement and member experience

- Familiarity with HTML and CMS a bonus

- Enthusiasm about and/or knowledge of weddings a clear plus
