Position Summary
The VP of Content will be responsible for owning and maintaining all content on the Bigthink.com website and microsites, to ensure content is well-curated, up-to-date and on brand from a visual and editorial perspective.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
•Curate the content on Bigthink.com by actively seeking new and existing content and packaging them in ways that conveys the firms thought leadership and areas of expertise
•Write, proof, edit and gather source information from multiple resources
•Manage implementation timelines for all key web projects
•Manage the upload of new content and identify cross-linking opportunities on relevant pages within the site
•Establish processes to keep content fresh on the website and engage multiple content owners in content freshness reviews and audits
•Manage the site’s information architecture to ensure all pages and content are organized intuitively to maintain a good user experience
•Enforce web editorial and branding standards, including photo and visual asset use.
•Work with practice and functional teams across the firm to maintain existing web content on Bigthink.com, including development of new pages, maintenance of existing content, and coordination of routine freshness reviews
•Create/maintain an SEO program and maintenance plan to ensure pages are optimized for search engines (internal and external search)
•Monitor web analytics to understand web trends and improve the overall usability of the site through data-driven analyses and reporting
•Respond to daily inquiries submitted through the global site "contact us" form or forward to the appropriate internal contact and subject-matter experts

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
•5-7 years of experience with website management and online content production
•Strong time and project management skills are required
•Ability to manage in house developers and creative designers, as well as external vendors responsible for technical support
•Understanding of content management systems for basic content updates, and photo editing tools to perform cropping of images, preferred
•Knowledge of how different web media elements (content, videos, podcasts, interactive tools, etc.) can be combined to create a rich online user experience
•SEO experience is preferred
•Experience with web analytics software to gather web trends and data (e.g., Adobe SiteCatalyst)
•Understanding of social media websites, functionality within each site, and ongoing trends desired
