The chosen candidate will work in various capacities on projects, including project management and collaborating with account executives and clients. Project management skills must include an ability to organize and structure multiple projects simultaneously, reconcile incoming content and work as a partner across multiple client teams and personalities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under deadline pressure are essential. A sense of humor is a plus! We work hard but like to have fun, too.

Daily responsibilities include:
•Editing and proofreading print and web content
•Developing editorial menus
•Writing articles, TOCs, cover lines, marketing copy, blog posts, web copy, white papers, etc.
•Developing concepts and ideas for advertising and marketing materials and campaigns
•Managing freelance writers and proofreaders
•Overseeing content development for health education classes
•Creating editorial style guides
•Writing SEO-friendly content and tags for the web

Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, marketing or communications or equivalent training and/or experience.

At least two years professional experience in content creation.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Fluency in AP Style, experience in Adobe products (including Acrobat and InDesign) and Microsoft Office programs, including Word and PowerPoint, are required. A working knowledge of basic HTML, content management systems and SEO/SEM is helpful. Spanish a plus.
