Agency Project Manager
OverviewThe Project Manager is responsible for working closely with multi-functional teams to define, estimate and document overall scope of complex agency projects. The Project Manager will oversee projects from conception to completion within a given deadline and budget.Key Responsibilities-Develop creative strategies and execute tactics that reach the clientâ€™s marketing goals such as the creation of promotional materials, direct mailings, publicity events, specialty events, media opportunities, etc.-Strategically plan, implement and monitor integrated year-long marketing schedules for clients-Lead proposal efforts for new business to ensure the accuracy of appropriate scope, timeline and budget estimates-Assist in all creative direction for advertising, public relations, social media and publishing projects-Facilitate deliverable review meetings with appropriate agency team members and client stakeholders-Actively lead agency design team in defining design objectives including logo design, corporate collateral, website architecture/design and other specialty itemsOther Duties-Create and distribute press releases and media alerts to appropriate media contacts-Proactively search for marketing opportunities for clients including public relations opportunities and strategic partnership relationships-Assist with all event coordination for agency, magazines and clients-Provide media buying suggestions to clients as needed-Assist in all copy writing for advertising, public relations, social media and publishing projectsQualificationsThe company seeks a candidate with a strong marketing acumen demonstrated by experience and education. At least five years of marketing experience is desired. Having experience in a creative agency environment gives applicants an edge.Skills and AttributesSuccessful Project Managers will be required to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment. It is imperative that the manager is proactive, well organized and excels at creative problem-solving. He or she must also have strong interpersonal, writing and presentation skills in order to communicate with upper management and clients. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. No phone calls.
