We are currently searching for a talented, creative & experienced professional who is passionate about digital marketing to join our vibrant and growing Web Marketing team. As Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll use your knowledge of direct marketing principles to develop a complete e-communications strategy that will increase brand awareness, heighten visitor engagement and drive high-quality traffic to our website and stores. In this leadership position, you’ll plan and execute a variety of diverse campaigns and programs that target both the parent and teacher markets—including e-mail and mobile-optimized e-mail, text/SMS, social media and blogs. Because you’ll be working with key players in multiple departments throughout the business, a collaborative, hands-on approach, excellent communication skills and a detailed, process-driven mentality are a must. This position is on-site at our Carson headquarters.

Responsibilities & Requirements
• Develop and execute effective strategies for digital marketing campaigns and promotions
• Analyze results from marketing campaigns and use insights to inform and develop future strategies
• Oversee promotional planning as it pertains to e-messaging calendar
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of emerging trends related to e-mail/Internet marketing
• Effectively partner with creative and IT teams to manage e-mail marketing production schedules from conception to execution

• Degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in e-mail/direct marketing
• Experience managing and optimizing large-scale marketing programs and developing strategies
• Knowledge of HTML, list segmentation, deployment, dynamic content and testing
• Detailed knowledge of ESPs, such as Silverpop, Yesmail, ExactTarget, Bronto and CheetahMail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
