Job Description:
Our client a Hispanic broadcast company in Miami is looking for a Preditor-Producer/Editor to join their team.

The On-Air Promotions Producer/Editor will have ownership and responsibility from concept to delivery and maintenance of on-air promotions and tie-ins.

Spanish MUST BE your 1st language to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities will include developing and producing promotions for new programming products, branding spots, special events and campaigns in a way that increases audience interest and overall market share. The individual in this role must demonstrate experience in all aspects of digital video production, writing original text, guiding voice-overs, choosing appropriate music, editing and working closely with graphics.

·Creates strong and impactful on-air promotional spots to include writing, producing, editing, graphic creation and/or promotional shoots as needed.

·Creates and produces special campaigns and up front tapes.
·Works with creative team in conceptualizing innovative/brand conscious campaigns. Provides constructive feedback to graphic artists.

·Must be able to supervise production companies from a creative point of view.
·Create and produce special campaigns with ability to incorporate and direct live action shoots.

·Strong collaboration with internal production teams to create concepts for promotional campaigns of original network productions.

·Guide voice over artists in recording sessions.

·Edit promotions including supervision of audio mixing and implementation of graphics.
·Select and combine the most effective shots of each scene to form a logical and smoothly running story.

·Edits material, inserts music, dialogue, and sound effects, arrange material into sequences, and corrects errors, using editing equipment.
Ensure that final projects are approved prior to broadcast.

·Bachelors degree and a minimum of three years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
·Must have a strong knowledge of linear and non-linear editing system such as Final Cut Pro, Avid, and After Effects.

·Strong understanding of Broadcast writing, copy writing and editing skills.

·Ability to produce live action shoots.

·Strong Television promo producing experience preferred.

·Previous experience in working closely with the Programming Department in a major broadcasting and/or cable channel preferred.

·Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
