Time Inc. is looking for an entrepreneurial digital media executive to lead and drive growth for Time Amplify -- Time Inc.’s multi-platform, scaled audience engagement solution that combines the power of proprietary audience segmentation with dynamic, content-driven ad experiences.

Living at the intersection of art and science, you will leverage Time Inc. content and data capabilities with the latest media optimization technologies to deliver multi-platform advertising solutions that engage audiences at scale and drive measurable results for our clients.

This is a unique, challenging and exciting opportunity for someone with entrepreneurial instincts, big media company experience, a deep understanding of the evolving digital advertising landscape, and an ability to translate complex technologies into easily understood marketplace solutions.

What you will do:

• Drive the strategy, business objectives and execution tactics for Time Amplify – including evolving the solution suite to address new marketplace challenges.

• Provide Time Amplify solutions support to brand and corporate sales/marketing teams – including pre-sales brainstorms, media plan development, and attending client meetings.

• Partner with revenue operations and data teams to execute and manage Time Amplify campaigns – including developing strategies for audience segmentation and campaign optimization.

• Collaborate with data, sales/marketing, editorial product and editorial content teams to develop and deploy new Time Amplify features.

• Partner with data, technology, research and revenue operations teams to (a) inform requirements for key technology and platform infrastructure elements required to support Time Amplify and any new audience advertising solutions, and (b) continuously improve processes for forecasting, launching, and optimizing Time Amplify or new audience advertising solutions.

• Lead business development efforts to partner with premium publishers, media networks, and technology providers to extend and enhance Time Amplify and new audience advertising solutions across desktop, tablet, mobile and social platforms.

• Coordinate closely with campaign analytics and research teams to measure and analyze key Time Amplify campaign and product metrics, and develop easily understood and actionable insights for clients.


What you bring to the role:

• Minimum of 7-10 years of product or business line management experience with audience advertising solutions at a media company, ad technology vendor, digital agency, portal or advertising network.

• Solid balance of analytical and creative skills. Your quantitative skills and love for storytelling through data should be matched by your understanding of key marketing concepts and an intuitive feel for compelling creative experiences.

• Deep understanding of the advertising technology ecosystem, and experience interacting with many of the leading players.

• Experience working directly with advertising clients, sales and marketing teams, and playing a hands-on role in helping to close business.

• Experience generating strategic partnerships with media and technology partners.

• Superior project management skills. Ability to juggle multiple initiatives and keep team members on track, on time and on budget.

• Excellent communication and relationship skills with all levels of management and staff; outstanding presentation & speaking skills.

• Strong desire to work in a dynamic and surprisingly entrepreneurial environment.
