SAVEUR Magazine (www.saveur.com) is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER whose responsibilities would include, but not be limited to growing revenue for SAVEUR’s Market Section and Direct Response business, through the development and sale of creative advertising solutions. This position can be based in Chicago or New York.

The JUNIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER will be required to learn and understand SAVEUR's print, digital and event products and have consultative selling skills to close business and develop relationships.

This is a unique opportunity to get started in sales, with much growth potential. We are looking for an organized, self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to successfully build an account list.

Responsibilities include:

Working with artisanal brands to provide creative marketing solutions
Effectively prospect, maintain opportunity pipeline and forecast
Identifying and helping to develop strategies to grow revenue
Performing Ad Hoc admin support including: handling expenses, managing office inventory and collateral needs


Minimum 2 years of experience in a magazine or website publishing environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Desired Characteristics

Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
Passion for food and travel
Demonstrated skill with Excel, MediaRadar and Salesforce preferred
The desire to learn in a positive sales environment
Exceptional communication skills - creation and delivery
Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet aggressive deadlines, and execute on agreed upon sales metrics
