•Serves as webmaster for both internal and external website content, as well as point-person for the submission, editing and initial input of all content.
•Sends all external official FSHA electronic mass communications.
•Works with content managers across campus to produce, update and maintain content for the FSHA website and ensure that the website is always current.
•Monitor, maintain and expand FSHA presence on social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram.
•Evaluate, create and manage new web-based projects for staff as requested and as new Whipple Hill products and features dictate.
•Collaborates with Director of Marketing and Communications to create and implement marketing messages that support the strategic initiatives of the Academy.
•Leads semi-monthly Academy-wide Communications Committee meetings.
•Produces monthly e-newsletters to FSHA alumnae and current parents. Author, edit and design Development e-publications and e-solicitations as needed.
•Collaborates with others to ensure the use of key messages in all Academy communications.
•Works with Director of Marketing and Communications to create annual goals and objectives for school-wide marketing and communications plan.
•Shoot and produce videos of school activities for use at on-campus fundraising, recognition and admissions events and for general marketing purposes.

•Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or marketing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•3-5 years’ experience in journalism, marketing, public relations, or digital communications, preferably in education.
•Proven strong writing and editorial skills, as well as strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
•Must have extensive experience with MS Office and/or Mac iWork software, fluency with Mac OS X preferred.
•Understanding of HTML, CSS, web design and web content management systems.
•Self-starter. Able to multi-task, set priorities, plan for and meet deadlines.
•A team player with strong consensus building skills. Able to develop effective relationships with all levels of the organization.
