Job Description:

Bandsintown / ToneMedia are looking for a dynamic sales director to work in Los Angeles, CA, to play a key role in growing the company’s advertising & partnership revenue. Reporting to Bandsintown / ToneMedia VP of Advertising, the successful candidates will have a proven track record of consistently delivering strong year over year revenue growth in direct mobile/online sales as well as a solid understanding of the Programmatic ecosystem.

Who we are looking for:

Bandsintown / ToneMedia is an exciting music venture based in New York City that is pioneering proprietary new means for marketers to engage directly with their target audience/consumer via mobile, desktop and programmatic channels. We are looking for smart, aggressive sales people who are passionate about music, and how brands can use it to connect with their target audience. The ideal candidate should come with established senior relationships and be able to hit the ground running to close new deals, grow existing client relationships for repeat sales and champion the products in the marketplace (both direct sold and RTB). The director will be responsible for growing the territory and eventually hiring and training a top-notch team to do the same.

•The ability to create original ideas and solutions that balance our business needs with those of the client while maintaining a world-class user experience.
•Track record of cultivating senior-level relationships with brand advertisers and ad agency executives.
•Knowledge of programmatic eco-system a strong plus

Requirements & Skills:

•BA/BS degree
•Proven track record that includes 5+ years in interactive ad sales, large-account sales, ?and sales program management.
•Previous mobile, programmatic and/or music experience a huge plus ?•Proven capacity to enhance revenue and margins, year over year.
•Demonstrated ability to think, to act and to lead strategically while managing the execution of the sales process.
•Established relationships with agencies and advertising client decision makers.
•Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics.
•Strong passion and understanding of music, advertising, interactive marketing trends and brand building.
•Strong strategic and tactical skills, as well as technical skills to understand the mobile, desktop and programmatic advertising market.
•Flexibility to travel to meet with agencies and clients.
