Job Description:
Reporting to the VP of Advertising, the Director, Programmatic Partnerships will be directly responsible for growing the programmatic advertising business for Bandsintown + ToneMedia. This role includes growing the existing programmatic revenue channel across desktop, mobile and video, as well as establishing new partnerships where needed.

This is a very hands-on role that requires developing demand side platform and agency trading desk relationships (demand generation), optimizing monetization across various revenue sources, as well as prospecting and onboarding new partners to drive incremental revenue.

•Develop vendor partnerships that contribute to meeting the overall revenue goals while maintaining high quality ad experience
•Work across departments (Direct Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations and Marketing) to grow and evolve a programmatic revenue strategy, including 1st party and third party audience data and display and text driven inventory channels.
•Generate demand for the private marketplaces and or premium packages by effectively representing the inventory to DSPs and ATDs.
•Working closely with a platform operations manager, as well as Direct Sales and Ad Operations to utilize inventory as efficiently as possible, effectively manage private exchange campaigns and revenue through identifying and executing on short and long-term inventory needs.
•Evaluate new providers and opportunities or enhancements to improve the ad experience quality and revenue.
•Monitor yield across the network, understanding trends and evaluating revenue impact.
•Analyze inventory and revenue data on a daily basis to optimize for maximum impact
•Effectively communicate with cross-functional groups to ensure that 3rd party relationships are performing well for the business.
•Oversee Platform Manager as day to day contact for the monetization partners including ad networks, DSPs and Trading Desks.

Requirements & Skills:
•Bachelor’s degree is required, emphasis in Business or Math a plus
•At least 5-7 years' work experience in online advertising, media buying or other digital
•At least 1-2 years digital publisher/sell-side experience
•Proven understanding of Programmatic sales/buying experience
•Direct experience with SSP programmatic platforms, Rubicon, AppNexus, etc..
•Understand auction dynamics of digital exchanges and experience working with RTB media (DSPs or in-house ad-network tools)
•Strong agency relationships, including in-house agency trade desks, programmatic buyers and demand side platform partners
•Top notch analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
•Must have a proven track record of cross team collaboration
•Ability to work in fast-paced environment; must be able to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers - both internal and external
•Excellent communication and presentation skills is required
•Proficiency in Excel is required
