Job Description:
The Online Fundraising and Engagement Associate supports fundraising efforts by building awareness of Seeds of Peace among the public and broad donor base. He/She will manage events and communications in support of Development programs to sustain maximum support for revenue-generating events, broaden participatory support, and engage donors through social and print media. The Online Fundraising and Engagement Associate will serve as the primary liaison to the Young Leadership Committee. Additionally, he/she will oversee the strategy and execution of the direct mail program.


Individual Giving and Digital/Online Element:
•Develops and implements a strategy focused on acquisition, stewardship, and upgrade of annual contributions through online engagement.
•Develops strategy and lead implementation of digital (email, web, social media, and mobile) engagement and fundraising.
•Coordinates and analyzes direct mail campaigns, online, and telephone solicitation efforts.
•Supports and coordinates materials for and mailings to major donors, as an adjunct to broad-based donor mailings.
•Develops and leads organizational effort to expand donor base utilizing social media and online giving platforms, in support of Development goals.
• Scans horizons for new opportunities and risks to digital engagement strategy and donor acquisition. Evaluates and recommends new tools for engagement and fundraising.
•Cultivates and stewards potential partnerships with corporations, NGOs, and tech start-ups.
•Drafts written content for individual donor solicitation

Events Management:
•Provides fundraising and logistical support for key events including Spring Benefit Dinner, Bridges to Peace, Peace Market, and other events to be determined.
•Manages communications materials and online fundraising platforms for all fundraising events, including liaising with relevant Communications Department and Program Department staff.

•Creates relevant and targeted donor materials for mailings and communications, especially for major donors.
•Supplies materials and supports individual-led fundraising drives while looking for opportunities for growth.

Communications Liaison:
•Maintains Development-related elements of the website and regular delivery of online content to database.
•Helps to manage branding of key fundraising events.
•Works with Communications Department staff on ad hoc projects, including drafting written and visual content.

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree or higher
•Minimum 2 years work experience
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop (essential), InDesign (basic), html coding (basic, willing to learn)
•Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, as well as individually
•Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to relate to wide variety of staff and constituents
•Ability to think strategically and prioritize while managing numerous projects simultaneously
•Excellent problem-solving skills
•Ability to remain highly organized
•Familiarity with social media
•Ability to work virtually with staff based overseas

Valued but not required skills and experience:
