We are seeking a Digital Content Marketing Coordinator to develop promotional content to increase web traffic and audience engagement in our rapidly expanding publishing program. This position, which reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, works closely with both the marketing and sales departments and is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, resourceful individual to join a growing, independent academic and professional publisher.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
•Creating digital content including but limited to eBooks, blogs, PR, videos, micro-videos (i.e., Vine), webinars, infographics, and social media to drive inbound demand (samples required).
•Initiating and collaborating on the creation of surveys and transforming surveys into press releases, blog articles, white papers and infographics.
•Building relationships with influential bloggers and exploring opportunities for book promotion.
•Writing blog articles and brainstorming ideas for blog posts on a wide range of health and healthcare topics including current events, technology, industry trends, etc.
•Supervising our freelance copywriter(s) and ensuring copy is effective, accurate, and meets company’s copy guidelines.
•Reviewing and approving all preliminary copy to appear on company websites, catalogs, and third party retailers (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iBookstore, etc.).
•Working with Web Marketing Manager to develop lead generating, progressive profiling landing pages.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Write and update web copy as needed.
•Some travel to represent company at conferences.
•Other marketing support as needed.

QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
•Enthusiastic and passionate about digital media and content marketing, and employing these tools to increase web traffic and audience engagement.
•Comfortable with commonly used social media management and tracking tools.
•Knowledgeable of content marketing best practices.
•Strong content marketing analytics and reporting skills.
•Good team player and can work collaboratively across the company to achieve common marketing goals.
•Enjoy working in a fast-growth and highly entrepreneurial environment.

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
•High level of comfort with Internet and content marketing with the ability to pick up new web services and software easily.
•Excellent writing skills.
•Experience with Adobe design software preferred.
•Some marketing experience and/or marketing coursework required.
•College degree.
•0 - 3 years experience desired.
