The graphic designer is responsible for creating design solutions that have a high visual impact. The role involves listening to clients and colleagues and understanding their needs before making design decisions. Our graphic designers work on a range of projects including but not limited to: design and production of brochures, reports, proposals, presentation materials, exhibitions, displays, wayfinding and signage, corporate communications and corporate identity.

•meeting clients and colleagues to discuss the business objectives and requirements of each project;
•interpreting the clients and colleagues’ business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
•estimating the time required to complete the work;
•developing design project by gathering information and data through research;
•thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
•using innovation to redefine a design project within the constraints of cost and time;
•presenting finalized ideas and concepts clients and colleagues;
•working with a wide range of media;
•proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work;
•contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall project;
•demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches;
•working on layouts and preparing for print;
•keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media
•developing interactive design;
•working as part of a team with other designers and marketing specialists

A graphic designer must have:
•Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or related field
•Minimum of 5 years of experience
•Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense
•Proficiency MS Office, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Dreamweaver and Flash; Sketch up and Revit preferred
•Confidence to present and explain ideas to clients and colleagues
•Strong problem-solving ability
•Must be detail oriented
•Must be a team-player who is able to manage a variety of projects under competing deadlines
•Excellent organizational and communication skills are critical
•Must be able to collaborate and influence
•Sense of humor
