Your tasks
Fodor_s Travel, a division of Penguin Random House, seeks an Account Manager. This position requires experience in content licensing and merchandising strategies. The position will focus on licensing Fodor_s Travel destination content, point-of-interest reviews, cruise ship reviews and other itinerary and travel-related content to both domestic and international clients. The right candidate has excellent written, verbal, organizational and time management skills; can work independently and with a team; and is able to assess marketplace trends in order to align internal content production strategies with licensing opportunities. Experience working with publishing houses is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
_Source potential transactions for the Fodor_s within the digital content vertical
_Prepare quotes and proposals for new, expansion and renewal business
_Tour customers and prospects _ present and review available repository of content and global coverage with potential clients
_Negotiate business and legal terms with potential customers and prospects according to Fodor_s guidelines
_Review and ensure the accuracy of lease/license documents prior to delivery to potential customers or prospects
_Report activities, revenue, and opportunities to the company on a regular basis
_Meet content license revenue targets
_Collaborate and strategize with editorial to meet client requests and align content expansion with core edit strategy
_Collaborate closely with technology to ensure optimal / up-to-date API features for partner content feeds
_Monitor accounts payable activities to ensure compliance with terms

Our requirements
Requirements
_3-4 years organic search experience
_Bachelor's Degree
_Knowledge of content delivery formats _ RSS, XML, API
_Awareness of supply and demand trends in the applicable domestic and international market/vertical
_Understand supply and demand trends in the digital content vertical
_Awareness of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy
_Manage existing accounts to ensure satisfaction and growth with Fodor_s
_Understand and assist in the development/improvement of the Fodor_s API and other content delivery methods
_Collaborate with finance in the reconciliation of accounts payable line-items
