CafeMom is looking for a strategic, energetic and motivated Marketing Research Manager to join our and Mamá sales team in New York. In this role you will “own” the entire pre-sales research process – crafting research stories in response to RFPs, tracking industry studies and disseminating the best findings within our organization, producing monthly reports, and much more. This is a tremendous opportunity for an enthusiastic experienced candidate to exhibit their passion for marketing and research on a fun, energetic and innovative team of digital sales professionals.

The Marketing Research Manager will be responsible for:
•Craft all pre-sale research stories in response to RFPs, meeting requests – and also proactively
•Partner with the Sales Directors and Sales Development teams every day to understand client objectives, pull relevant data and interpret it to help tell strong stories
•Understand all 3rd party research tools we currently subscribe to and how we use them; be aware of all available tools out there and determine how they would benefit us/the company work
•Updating all comScore regularly issued monthly reports and sales collateral (PowerPoint slides) and fulfilling ad-hoc requests from the sales force and management;
•Utilizing custom tools and databases to analyze conversations taking place on the site for use as input to RFP responses
•Creating sales collateral based on syndicated and proprietary data;
•Monitoring and coordinating the implementation of proprietary and 3rd party research studies
•Identifying and summarizing relevant industry research findings
•Produce PPT slides to bring research and findings to life
•Read, summarize, disseminate and library all current & relevant industry studies, findings in the trades and interesting data points – on an ongoing basis
•Produce monthly reports from comScore, on our competitive set and advertising spends (strong understanding of our competitive set – their traffic, site activity, growth patterns, multi-platform)
•Help create research stories around digital, mobile, social and video usage – for the world at large, our audience and our competitors
•Must have excellent PPT skills
•Able to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment and meet tight deadlines

•Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Communications, or related field
•Minimum 3+ years of Web analytics experience;
•Must have experience analyzing comScore and Nielsen NetRating data
•Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
•Some experience with survey writing and analysis
•Familiarity with ad-effectiveness research methodologies and implementation
•Very strong analytical skills
•Familiarity with Google Analytics & Adobe SiteCatalyst a plus;
•Familiarity with TNS Strategy, MRI,/Simmons is a plus
•Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
