Full Time
A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or English, and advanced knowledge of media relations and communications practices are required. Specific experience requirements are as follows:

Senior Communications Manager
A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, superior knowledge of Washington’s press corps, a proven record of cultivating media relationships, and demonstrated skill in marketing digital content are required. The ability to work in a team and manage projects and personnel is also essential.

Communications Associate
A minimum of five years relevant experience, knowledge of Washington’s press corps, and experience with social media and web marketing are required. Knowledge of AP style and familiarity with numbers and statistics are critical.

Communications Assistant
A minimum of one to two years of relevant experience, excellent writing and verbal skills, and the abilities to work both independently and as a team are required.
