As Marketing Manager you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring strategic marketing plans to deliver revenues, project and business input, engagement and other relevant KPIs. You will be working with the Author Marketing leads on strategic two-way author engagement program to improve all aspects of Wiley’s relationship with its author base; implementing and analyzing innovative marketing messages and communications across all media and channels to connect effectively with author base and to provide same for use by other marketing and functional groups.

•Minimum 5 year marketing experience in related industry
•Experience of product marketing, marketing expense management and demonstrated understanding of trends within scholarly publishing
•Budget management experience
•Knowledge of strategic marketing
•Excellent interpersonal, analytical, collaboration and communication skills
•Strong external focus and willingness to engage
•Understands workflows and publishing processes
•Business and financial acumen
•Highly collaborative across multiple stakeholder groups and in a matrixed work environment
•Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects
•High level of presentation skills
•Interacts closely with other marketing and editorial groups
•Experienced in leading without direct authority and proven conflict resolution skills
•Strong written and oral communication skills
•Attention to detail
•Ability and willingness to travel
•Degree level or equivalent experience; Marketing degree preferred
