Pace, a leading U.S. content marketing agency is now accepting resumes for a VP/Group Account Director to provide strategic development and management of financial services accounts. We are seeking a skilled and dynamic individual to engage with clients and lead our multi-disciplinary account teams in innovation and development of successful content marketing programs to drive audience engagement and business performance for leading brands.


POSITION SUMMARY:
The VP/Group Account Director leads and manages client engagements, as well as the internal agency team, and is responsible for the overall client satisfaction, quality of service, and on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy completion of the agency’s content development and marketing services.

The VP/Group Account Director works successfully within a matrix environment, collaborating with vertical discipline leads in the advancement and delivery of industry leading service and successful content marketing programs for clients. This person must develop, maintain and grow client relationships, providing key strategic thinking, and create ideas that grow/retain the business.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Minimum 15 years experience in Marketing Communications, preferably within an Agency environment, with 10 years experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity. Must have a proven track record for success leading and growing client relationships. Current experience and track record desired within financial services content/communications programs. Experience with Fortune 500/multi-million dollar clients preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations or a related field preferred. Should demonstrate a desire for continuous learning and improvement through participation in industry events and educational opportunities (seminars, training, etc.).

Act as the Pace lead with senior clients on cross-line of business integrated marketing programs, contributing to the overall strategic planning process, representing the content opportunity, defining content tactics within programs and campaigns, and creating campaign plans.

WORKING CONDITIONS: Work in typical office setting. Significant travel required.
