D Magazine Partners is searching for a Sales Director to lead its sales teams across all publications and websites. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all D-branded media continue to be as successful in serving our advertisers as they are in serving our readers.
While in charge of the sales department, the Sales Director also oversees advertising art and client services.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE:

•5+ years sales management experience, particularly leading successful sales teams
•A leader of both business and people, particularly in a sales-focused and matrixed organization.
•Refined idea generator. Ability to assess and analyze current market conditions and company know-how that result in product innovation.
•Firm understanding of pricing models and impact to bottom line.
•Develop client relationships through thought leadership, trust and respect.
•Accomplished public speaker and presenter.
•Constant focus on staff, both in recruitment and retention.
•Training and support for sales staff leading to effective and efficient revenue generation techniques.
