An immediate opportunity exists for a Senior Multimedia Producer who believes in the power of digital media to engage, educate and inspire. The Senior Multimedia Producer will be responsible for creating engaging online experiences for web projects for both local and national PBS programs. This position will work with a team comprised of design, content, and coding professionals who work together to develop web sites that support the best programming on television and the Web. The ideal candidate will also work directly with other groups within the organization to conceive, create, enhance, and maintain content for WNET Web properties.


?Lead the day-to-day operational aspects for web projects and communicate client goals to the team
?Create and coordinate editorial and multimedia assets for multi-platform distribution
?Work with other Multimedia Producers and provide feedback on content ideas and implementation
?Create site planning documents (i.e. wireframes, visual guides, workflows)
?Write blog posts and copy edit articles
?Write appropriate metadata for video and related content
?Coordinate QA for site testing


?Minimum of 3 years of experience creating content for the web including writing for SEO
?Expert-level knowledge of WordPress
?Proficiency with Adobe Premiere including ability edit, digitize and export video into various file formats
?Experience with HTML & Photoshop; experience with CMS platforms
?Knowledge of current web technologies
?Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal); excellent organizational and analytical skills
?Enthusiastic, flexible team player interested in acquiring new skills
