Child's Play Communications, award-winning specialists in connecting companies with moms, seeks an Account Executive. The candidate must have 1-3 years PR agency experience, ideally with apps/technology, toys and/or children’s entertainment.
Primary responsibilities will include:
•Assist in the development of PR strategy, including timelines
•Manage multiple projects for a variety of clients while executing day-to-day account activities
•Serve as day-to-day client contact and provide strategic counsel to client on tactical matters
•Implement top-level media outreach securing placement in print, online and broadcast outlets
•Write pitches, press releases and plans
•Develop media lists
•Coordinate with social media manager to oversee blogger, Facebook and Twitter activity
•Assist in pursuing new business opportunities


Candidate must have the following:

•1-3 years public relations agency experience with consumer products
•A-list media placement record (broadcast, print, online)
•Strategic pitch and story development expertise
•Excellent writing and communication skills
•Social media knowledge
•Ability to thrive in an intimate environment
