Child’s Play Communications, award winning specialists in public relations, social media and word-of-mouth communications targeting moms, seeks a full time Account Coordinator to support traditional PR and social media initiatives for several of the agency’s leading clients.

Responsibilities for this entry-level position will include:
•Development of media lists and coordination of editorial mailings
•Pitching and follow up with editors, producers and bloggers
•Writing pitches and press materials
•Client relations
•Research and brainstorming
•Event coordination and on-site support
•Monthly reports
•Administrative support

Qualifications:
•Public Relations/Communications/Journalism/Marketing degree
•Previous PR internships—2-3 preferred
•Excellent organizational skills
•Articulate, pleasant phone manner
•Social media savvy
•Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
•Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment
•Enthusiasm, a positive attitude and a passion for PR
