Scholastic is seeking an Associate Manager - Media and Analytics for their Marketing division. He/she will source, commit to, release, analyze, and report on advertising efforts for the Trade group. This role is responsible for working with media companies to secure the best available avenues to target specific audiences at the best available pricing. On a monthly basis, the position will coordinate with outside vendors and eScholastic to report on benchmarks and results.


•Work with outside vendors to secure, reserve, and pay for media placement
•Manage a monthly analytics report comprising a detailed deck on campaigns run, benchmark comparisons, new discoveries, and performance of each campaign
•Organize purchased media and communicate with brand managers
•Create best practices details for creative and brand managers
•Coordinate placements with eScholastic for Stacks and other corporate properties
•Secure terms as directed by Scholastic corporate finance
•Manage direct email campaigns
•Ensure that campaigns are properly coded for analytics
•Establish and report on benchmarks on a monthly basis

Required Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree is required
•1+ years of media buying and media sourcing experience required
•Familiarity with web analytic tools such as turnkey dashboards and pre-packaged reporting tools
•Familiarity with Sprinklr or Radian 6 is a plus
•Ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels within the organization
•Excellent organizational and communication skills
•Extreme attention to detail
•Publishing experience is ideal, but not necessary
