The Senior Content Editor is a key member of our multidisciplinary team and a driving force behind our original content programs. A strategic thinker and creative problem solver, this person is energized by the challenge of researching, analyzing and understanding diverse business and consumer audiences and designing original content programs for each. The Senior Content Editor works on multiple clients, from consumer and enterprise technology start-ups to lifestyle and media companies, and produces impeccable content that captures voice and messaging, delivers valuable insight to its intended audience and builds loyalty around the client’s brand. The right candidate for this role understands the power of content channels and knows how to use them strategically to reach specific audiences.

The Senior Content Editor is also a skilled editorial manager who creates and runs multiple editorial calendars as well as manages in-house and external contributors – including writers, editors, designers, and PR specialists – to meet high standards and tight deadlines. This person drives social media promotion of all content and draws insight from performance analytics, adjusting strategy and execution to meet program goals. An experienced client manager, the Senior Content Editor is capable of communicating with high-level client contacts to set expectations, address issues and report on program success.

•7+ years experience managing content programs and/or media properties, preferably for B2B or B2C technology companies
•Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced digital publishing environment, including writing for online media, building editorial calendars and managing writers, editors and/or other multimedia contributors
•Passion for designing and implementing multi-channel content programs for diverse audiences
•Expertise in planning and launching social media strategies and campaigns
•Ability to set analytics goals, measure performance, and adjust strategy to achieve success
•Practical experience with SEO and content optimization
•Proven success in building and maintaining client relationships
•Entrepreneurial spirit and positive can-do attitude
•A sense of humor helps too
