HarperOne seeks a dedicated, organized, multi-tasking admin to support five members of the marketing department. This administrative role provides general support to the department and works directly with individual members of the team to assist with elements of campaigns. The role requires someone competent in research, writing, content development, maintaining spreadsheets, taking clear meticulous notes, managing deadlines, updating budget documents, and more. The Marketing Coordinator will get exposure to many aspects of the publishing process specifically the building and execution of marketing campaigns, the seasonal sales process, social media marketing, and more.

Responsibilities:
• Perform general administrative duties including copying, filing, mailings, ordering books and supplies
• Schedule meetings, prepare meeting material and take notes in meetings
• Manage seasonal schedules and deadlines
• Process department invoices and input budget changes
• Process department expense reports
• Assist with sales support including creation of sell sheets and promotional materials
• Participate in developing/collecting content for imprint and author social media accounts
• Assist members of the department with various aspects of book campaigns
• Assist in the development of seasonal marketing plans including idea generation
• Assist in the preparation for all seasonal marketing meetings
• Research and order various promotional items

Qualifications:
• A minimum of one year prior relevant work experience
• Must possess college degree
• Proficient in basic computer applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of basic HTML and Photoshop a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in social media platforms
• Familiarity with e-reading devices
• Must be detail oriented and organized with a can-do attitude and willingness to get the job done
