A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism or Graphic Design with a Journalism emphasis is preferred. Specific experience requirements are as follows:

Web Developer
A minimum of three years of web development experience in a news, research, or non-profit environment is required. Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with the ability to explain complex technical problems to less-technical team members, is critical.

Information Graphics Designer
A minimum of two to five years of experience in graphic design or infographics is required, while knowledge of statistics, data analysis, and cartography is a plus. Strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, and analytic abilities are also essential.

Web Producer
A minimum of three to five years of experience in online news production, ideally at a news or other highly public organization, is required. Ideal candidates will also have strong social media skills, a high level of comfort with numbers and data trends, and a strong understanding of online content management systems.
