Job DescriptionOur ideal candidate has a strong background in digital media with experience implementingand maintaining content production and distribution workflows. While keeping the trainsrunning on time and an expert knowledge in grammar and style conventions for the web isessential to this role, like all members of the content team, you’ll be expected to contributestories on an on-going basis. Tightening prose, punching up headlines, ensuring thatarticles are formatted correctly and multimedia assets are properly integrated are alladditional job responsibilities.Job RequirementsWe’re particularly interested in candidates who possess the following:? Minimum of 3 years copy editing in a news or digital environment? Proven writing + editing ability? Technological + social media savvy? Fluency with AP style? Experience writing headlines in digital media? Good organizational skills and the ability to work on deadlineThis is a full-time, in-house position.
