The marketing manager will join a small but fast-paced team with a scrappy attitude and a love for the creative process. He/she will play an integral role in developing and executing marketing strategies, promotions, and programs for Defense One. The position will report to the GM, Defense One and will be a critical player in achieving Defense One’s aggressive growth plans.

Responsibilities Include:
*Launch, build and maintain research and analytics
*Examine and analyze data insights to create audience and brand stories and marketing and communications plans and campaigns
*Maintain key branding materials and product marketing sales collateral
*Strategize on sophisticated, scalable brand marketing programs (e.g. digital, events, social, etc.)
*Develop and strategize on user acquisition and audience development programs
*Work with stakeholders to develop and execute digital audience growth strategies
*Establish and maintain key partner relationships
*Identify emerging trends in social media and online advertising, and work proactively across the marketing dept to turn them into innovative new platforms
