We are looking for a positive, proactive, and knowledgeable Human Resources person to join our fun, multi-state office team. This position, working in the Washington, D.C. office, will report to the SVP, Human Resources in our Phoenix, Arizona office.

This position will be the point of contact for company-wide recruiting, as well as support the staff in the D.C. office with general HR questions, mitigating any potential issues with a calm, well-respected, and professional demeanor.

You have:

-A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business.

-3-5 years of HR experience, with an emphasis on recruiting.

-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

-Strong typing skills.

-Experience with using an online applicant tracking system, preferably PC Recruiter.

-Experience recruiting candidates for different levels, preferably in the same or a similar industry and to include digital positions.

-Some employee relations experience.

-A self-starter. You get the job done and look for ways to innovate. You don't need someone looking over your shoulder and giving you directions.

-A knowledge of labor compliance, but an ability to balance that with common sense and adherence with company values--doing the right thing when it comes to resolving issues.

-An aversion to paper. You try and do everything electronically. No paper files here! You are great at organizing things electronically. You prefer that.

-An ability to multi-task and produce results. You have great follow up skills. People know that if you have committed to doing something, you will do it and you will do it with a smile.

-A sense of humor. We don't expect you to be a comedian, but we do expect you to laugh and enjoy what you do, and be a person that others enjoy being around--not dread seeing.

-A heart. You are compassionate and caring. You are empathetic, while being professional. Because of that, you have a track record of being well respected.

Does this sound like you?
