Full Time
Squarespace’s small and nimble PR team has a big mission: our goal is to elevate the company’s brand awareness and increase its public profile. We sincerely believe that we have the best product out there, and we want to ensure our reputation reflects the truth. We work in a no-BS environment and value quality over quantity when it comes to our work.

We’re looking for an outgoing, smart, and all-around awesome PR professional with serious consumer lifestyle chops to bolster our efforts to make Squarespace a household name. You’ll be managing day-to-day consumer PR activities, liaising with the media, and working with key stakeholders across the company to proactively identify new story angles that communicate the Squarespace values. You’ll also spearhead an influencer program for various members of the press and key bloggers to use and spread the word about Squarespace.

At Squarespace, our biggest strength is our biggest challenge: our product can be a lot of different things to many different groups of people. A couple using Squarespace to build their wedding website has a story that’s just as compelling as the customer using Squarespace to sell handmade leather goods. The successful candidate has excellent interpersonal skills and an innate sense of curiosity, seeking to understand Squarespace’s customers and culture as well as uncover new trends and newsworthy stories. You are a confident self-starter with a strong knowledge of the media landscape. You have existing relationships with lifestyle journalists and bloggers with a proven track record of garnering national, top-tier press for your clients.

You must be comfortable working in a small team without an agency and willing to take on the challenge of creating a strong consumer brand. You’re seasoned, but not too jaded – landing a great hit still gives you that shot of adrenaline. You can talk the talk, walk the walk, and still have a laugh about it all at the end of the day.

Consumer tech experience strongly preferred but diversity of experience required. Love and appreciation for Squarespace a bonus. We expect candidates to have more than five years of experience in an agency or in-house setting.

How to Apply:
