Senior Editor, The Penn Stater Magazine

The Penn Stater Magazine seeks an experienced senior editor to conceive, assign, and edit features; to manage several magazine departments; to write for the magazine and its website; and to contribute to its social media presence. The Penn Stater is an 80- to 96-page bimonthly for the 174,000 members of the Penn State Alumni Association, the largest dues-paying alumni association in the United States. The staff is creative, collaborative, and committed to producing one of the best magazines of its kind; the magazine has won numerous national awards, including recent honors for its unflinching coverage of the Sandusky scandal.  

Magazine experience preferred. The successful candidate must possess exemplary interpersonal skills and demonstrate a genuine appreciation in working with diverse audiences

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree plus six years of work related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
