JCDecaux, the world leader in Out-of-Home media, is expanding its airport sales division and is looking for a National Account Executive to add to its New York team.
The right candidate will possess an ability and desire to develop new business directly with client-side marketers and advertisers.
Successful candidate will have 7-10 years’ experience in national media sales and background calling on major national advertisers and their agency partners. Digital Sales are a key growth area so digital ad sales experience is a real plus.
Candidates with at least 10 years ad agency experience who are looking to make the switch into sales/business development are also encouraged to apply.
Primary role is to develop new business and manage a major, ongoing ad agency relationships with key accounts. Candidate will have a demonstrated track record in new business.
•Position will be focused on developing new business from major b2b and b2c categories (e.g., finance, technology, automotive, travel)
•Candidate possesses a highly-competitive spirit and is motivated to exceed goals and expectations put forth by JCDecaux and its clients.
•Successful candidate must have strong, existing relationships with key ad agency planners/buyers.
•Person will develop strong knowledge of airport portfolio and products in order to properly position JCDecaux products to attract new advertisers.
•Successful candidate will have proven track record in closing new business.
•Background in digital and social media preferred.
•Position will report directly to EVP Sales and Marketing.
•Some travel required
