Education/Training/Experience?Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, the social sciences or related field?Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in journalism or related field?Demonstrated experience as a clean and clear writer who can work with quantitative material that is conceptualized at a high level and written for a broad audience?Demonstrated experience with social media and familiarity with the latest digital journalism tools?Training or experience in studying technology or science subjects and related issues from a social science framework preferredKnowledge and Skill Requirements?Strong or writing and editing skills. Clarity is essential.?Strong facility with data journalism, meaning comfort and skill with numbers and an ability to synthesize data and translate it into clear prose and superior graphics.
