Mr. Dan Catinella
Full Time
If you're anything like us, you spend your time thinking about food, restaurants and chefs. Lucky you, then, because StarChefs.com, an online magazine for the culinary industry, is now accepting applications for a food-savvy and - most importantly - detail oriented executive assistant to the Editor-In-Chief and Managing Editor.

Are you an Outlook expert?

Do you want to be a professional executive assistant?

Are your greatest assets your resilience and hardcore work-ethic?

Does keeping someone else 110% organized make you feel warm and fuzzy inside?

Can you juggle a million and one tasks, and still make sure your boss gets out the door with his/her marketing kit, camera equipment and notepad every time?

If this describes your approach to your job, then keep reading. We are looking for a hardworking, totally on top of it, decisive, go-getter who's got boundless energy, lots of patience, astounding follow through, and "we'll admit it" a bit of a thick skin.

Applicants must be responsible and no-nonsense to keep our CEO and Managing Editor organized, prioritized, and sane.

You've got to be outgoing, methodical, and able to multi-task with the best of them to thrive in this role.

Tasks include answering phones, drafting and responding to emails, scheduling interviews, setting up tasting trips, making travel arrangements, updating outlook contacts, managing mailing lists, doing research and pre-interviewing chefs, fact-checking, compiling expense reports, sending out invitations, prioritizing company must do's and anything else that may come up.

You should be a wiz with excel, have superb writing skills, and know how to use Access and/or Filemaker. Basically, your job is making the workday smoother and more efficient for these workaholic executives so they can get everything done in a timely manner.

Given StarChefs.com's line of work, you should also love food. Check out our magazine and tell us why you are the best candidate for the job. Please include salary requirements in cover letter.

Remember, personality counts! No applicant will be considered without a detailed cover letter. At least 5 years experience as an executive assistant is required. Total compensation $30-45,000, depending on experience.
