•Create effective integrated marketing campaigns to drive retail and direct online sales, title, and brand awareness, social media engagement, and website traffic
•Gather and use data and consumer, trade, and product research to target and engage consumers, continuously optimize campaigns and boost results, and educate our team on developments in the digital world
•Collaborate with editorial, creative, publicity, and sales teams to generate ideas for new features and campaigns tailored to the needs of each author, client, and project
•Develop and maintain a strong rapport with authors, agents, and key partners from each project’s inception through the creation and execution of promotional plans
•Assist with sales presentations and key account strategy sessions, and coordinate promotional plans with sales team leadership, field reps, and support staff
•Work with the publisher and acquisitions staff to establish digital development and acquisitions strategies and timing

Desired Skills and Experience:
The right candidate will have:
•A college degree plus 3 – 10 years experience related to digital marketing and/or e-commerce
•Strong technical skills or the ability to quickly learn technical concepts
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•A proactive, energetic attitude, and a prior success in a results-oriented and deadline-driven environment

And will be:
•A team player with the desire and ability to manage multiple relationships and projects at once
•Motivated, tenacious, and resourceful: works independently and doesn't take "no" for an answer
•Excited by the opportunities and challenges of a start-up environment
