If online advertising makes you geek out, this is the freelance gig for you.

We're working with an advertising technology company to produce high-quality content for their website and blog, as well as longer-form content like articles and white papers.

Call it ghostwriting. Call it thought-leadership. Call it a gig crafting intelligent, insightful copy, while learning about the nuts and bolts of how ads are targeted, served, tracked and everything in between.

**Prior knowledge of online advertising -- search, social, mobile, display, comScore, Google Analytics, etc. -- is a must.**

That's because this particular project will require a granular understanding of the processes behind online advertising. That doesn't mean you need to be an expert now. It just means that you should be willing to evolve into one over the course of the contract, and that you should be able to grasp basic ad tech concepts from the start.

Deliverables include:
*Weekly editorial meeting
*Research and draft one blog post per week
*Draft one thought-leadership column per month (based on existing content outline)
*Occasional direct client Q&As

Timeline & Compensation:
*Currently a 3-month project, with the potential for longer-term depending on performance and client fit.
*Competitive compensation, paid monthly on the 15th
*Begins in Sept
*We're based in LA, but you can be based anywhere.

*Please include two (short 350-500 word) writing samples.
*Please take a look at AdExchanger, Mediapost and Digiday. Include a link to one story from each, along with a quick sentence on why it piqued your interest.
*Include a link to your LinkedIn profile
